The Graston Technique is a soft tissue therapy that uses small metal tools to assist the clinician to effectively detect and break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. We often call it “the high-priced butter knife treatment.”
Done in a small local area like around a joint capsule or a muscle tendon attachment, small metal tools are used to massage and help breakdown scar tissue or adhesions. This helps to restore function to that area and reduces pain.
The Graston Technique is used to treat the following conditions.
Using the Graston Technique in combination with joint mobilization from chiropractic adjustments allows for quicker recovery times. Get back to the activities you enjoy without having to worry about pain or re-injury!
